A brave new world

It took me some days to gather the resources for the spell. I was trying to invoke a demon for further studies into the dark arts known as Demonolagy, and hopefully find other members of the Undead. Demons being the purest of the guardians subjects, there magics are dark and powerful.

I took fertile dirt and drew a circle, i then took blood of a lamb that was in a jug, poured it out on the floor to draw the pentagram, I then placed down a blank rune in the centre then placed a old skull of a powerful necromancer on top, then started the spell. I said the words "Kal Vas Xen Kal" and the walls of my house shook, a force hit me like a enraged bull, knocking me off my feet. After a few moments i awoke and before me was something i thought i would never see, a black moongate.

Had the demons made a moongate to take me to there world? had they made it so i can find they rest of the Undead? Only way to find out is go through so i grabbed a few spell books, took one last look at my home and stepped in. When i came out the other side i was where my house would have been out side Cove but it was gone, after i got my bearings i decided to take a walk into cove. I felt strange, thinking it was the transportation of the moongate it would pass after feeding but when i got close to town i noticed there was an abundance of people and as i approached the gates the guards were not weary or scared of me and i just walked right passed them.

Cove had changed, merchants had set up stalls in the town square, farmers were buying and selling crops, miners going to work and bards singing in the square waiting for passers by to give them gold. The smell of fresh bread and cooked meat filled the air. A few drunken men fell out of a tavern and headed to the back of town, so i followed them. Claiming over rocks and down to a ledge that looked out to the sea, the men moved a few rocks near the back of the ledge and pulled out more bottles of ale, i watched as they become more and more intoxicated.The sun started to fall and dusk was just about to set in when one of the men decided to climb back up to take a piss. While he was distracted i grabbed him from behind and sank my teeth into his neck. I was unable to keep a hold of him, he threw me off and i noticed that i had not even broken the skin, then he punched me in the face. His friends came up to see what was going on, the man screaming that i was a mad man so they called the guard.

After the guards checked my bag and saw that it was full of spell books they decided to escort me out of town so not to cause damage to Cove or any of it citizens. After leaving town i realised that i was bleeding!! A sinking feeling set in and at that moment i knew i was human once again. What was going on in this land? i headed to where the necropolis should have been and again it was gone. The powers of the Guardian were not strong here, i can not allow that so by using my knowledge and powers i will bring the darkness of the Guardian to this new land and earn the guardians favour to be restored to my former self.

[OOC] A couple of us have started on a new server called Ultima Online Forever [http://www.uoforever.com] its uo renasaunce era. we would like to get a few more members to join with us and get the guild back to its former glory.

Yeah I saw Yew and Bloodclan Orcs playing there to. I'm getting burnt out on trying these new shards just to see them close down in a few months but may pop in to say Good Souls!

This shard has thousands of active players it has been open to the public for about two weeks now (maybe three). Would love to see you there

me and a few buds from work are starting there actually in a couple of days. I find the skill gain is a bit unrewarding because its too fast (stat gain too) but its got all the other elements and some nice features that I like.

I dont know if i'll be roleplaying until I get used to the game again, but if you see any of the following in game, say Good Souls:

Truly sorry but scratch that. Its not era accurate. No skill scrolls for me, cant stand that. I left OSI just as they were being implemented. Didnt like the direction where it was heading. I'll be playing on the second age server (uosecondage.com). Pre-trammel ftw.
