To which he replieddd, in a rather ssimple minded fashionnn: 'trade what'

'Trade your soullll... for immortality, completely legitimate with no stringsss attached, I asssuuure yoouuu...'

'no thanks, drink some water'

'oh i get it, your a vampire'

'Vampiress are effeminate pansiessss.'

Act 2: Prolonging One's Life through the Necromantic Arts,

Chapter 1
Immortality is something many strive for, and few succeed in. The most well known of the immortals are Lord British, whose means of immortality is unknown, and the late Mondain, who's spell of immortality was broken, and his life taken soon after.

However these are not the immortals we are concerned with. Their stories offer nothing to us. To we men and women who seek everlasting life for ourselves, there is only one clear path for us. Undeath.

The most common immortal creatures are those who take the necassary rituals to become a lich, though the resulting creature may be considered by a different name depending on it's form and it's abilities. And even then, only a chosen few still retain some semblance of the intelligence or memory from their past life. These few are the followers of the Guardian, he who gives the power of true life, true UNDEATH, to his loyal worshippers. The Guardian will be discussed in a later chapter.

Gaining undeath without the Guardian's approval will leave you like the many undead creatures found in dungeons, a mere husk of you former self. Thus your first task should be to seek out these True Undead, to fall under their wing, and to hope to join their ranks. I cannot disclose any details, I can only wish you luck in your dark endeavors....

I am back now. When I first started playing IPY2 a few months ago, I got a really nasty virus that wiped my computer. I got a new laptop and I wouldn't mind getting back into things. I am going to school for my MBA and I am working almost full time now, however I wouldn't mind getting back into things. I will log on this weekend.

What kinda bothers me is that I got the virus in my email. I am 99% sure it said something about "undead" in the title, which was why I opened it. It downloaded thousands of other viruses and completely destroyed my windows (and my old desktop). Umm has anyone else heard of this happening? I got the feeling I was specifically targeted and someone didn't want me around.

And though I joined after you'd left, everyone in the guild that I've talked to hoped you'd come back.
I doubt anyone wanted to 'dispose' of you. lol.

I should be on in the next few days. I created the Undead in 1997 and made many friends (and enemies!). I was targeted in the past which is why I am kinda suspicious of that email that destroyed my old comp.

I doubt someone from inside the guild would create a complicated virus or obtain one just to remove smeone else from a 15 year old game for what could be 24 hours at least.

It's a likely scenario you were a random target. But in case I'm wrong and you weren't random then someone feels you have done them wrong.
